Measurements: for the triangles I cut a square 2 1/8” and bordered it then cut corner to corner. The image panel is 2 ½” x 3 ¾” before the borders.
-Out of the box cutting is done by cutting to the image on the front, mark the image on the back while holding up to a light source (window works fine) flip the image over, line up on the cutter and cut to the mark then cut around the image with scissors. I also add black marker around the flowerÂ’s cut edge to finish it off and I do this from the back just in case the hand should slip.
-The image is colored with re inkers and artist brush.
-I masked off the coyote and cactus then tore a sticky note to mask off the background. I punched a ½” circle for the moon.
-Sponged on navy, heavy on the top to light on the bottom.
-Removed the moon mask and added a few streaks with the artist brush then sponged on more navy.
-Masked off the top layer of the background and sponged on turquoise.
-Masked off for the second layer of the background and sponged the darker teal. I also used the artist brush and water to do some blending.
-Colored in the ground area with re inkers and artist brush.
-Removed the coyote mask and sponged on more navy and also stamped the grass and colored in.
-Removed the mask over the cactus and the panel is finished!
-Stamped up mat pack and Making Memories piercer was used for the paper piercing and marking the brads placement.
-Backgrounders are stamped on the turquoise and marigold but they donÂ’t show real well in the photo. I also sponged these layers with distress ink.
