I made a version of this in red and gold back in June for a TLC challenge when we had not to use a square card base.
I wanted to send a couple of cards to Shellapoo from yesterday's Featured Stamper, one for her and one that she could use for her card ministry. So I decided it was time to make the blue and green version of this fishy that I had always wanted to try out. Only now DH says I have to make another one to keep!
I used blue card for the base, various blue, green and silver papers, a 5/8 inch circle punch, a big wobble eye and some Iridescent Green Twinkling H2O on the card for added shimmer.

Great idea, colors and details ~ TFS!
(My DH is a fisheries biologist ~ I must suggest that next time you start layering the scales from back to front otherwise poor fishy would never slip through the water like a...fish, he would have to swim backwards to reduce drag... LOL...)

This is the cutest fish card. I have to make one of these since I work for the largest seafood distributor in Denver. Is there a basic pattern for this?
