I made the tassle, Carrie--it's actually EASY, or I wouldn't have done it! LOL!
Decide how long you want the tassle and cut a scrap of c/s to accomodate that. Then, wind black craft floss (It's a little thicker than embroidery floss, but you could use EF, too!) around the c/s until you have the tassle as thick as you want it. Slip a separate piece through the loops and tie off in a knot for the "top" of the tassle. Slide it off the c/s and then wrap another piece further down, around ALL the loops. Then trim the bottom and voil�!
For the life of me, can't figure out why the darn things are so expensive--this maybe cost me 2 cents to make and about a minute of my time.
