I'm going with a few of my Red Hat friends to a bingo tomorrow in San Antonio, benefiting the Ronald McDonald House. We're to bring our own "brown bag" lunch. There will be a contest for the neatest decorated bag. This is my lunch bag.
I printed the face on the computer from an old template I scanned from a card making magazine 2 or 3 years ago. The hat pattern came from Art Explosion Scrapbooking Factory, enlarged and printed for a pattern. The hat is made from a piece of red flocked embossed felt. The jewelry is beads I hand-strung, actually using a needle, which, except for cross-stitching, are alien tools to me. The big ole purple flower was embossed 3 times and cut out and layered with dimensionals.
It is also for Jeanne's limited supply challenge. I love the name of the challenge, because I always end up digging in every drawer and bin looking for "supplies". Found the red beads I bought for something last year and never used, some diamonds and rubies, a feather, etc. Her hair is DMC embroidery flooss.
I know she doesn't really look as "happy" as some of the images on some of the cards, but that's because she's worried that her hat makes her butt look big! That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.
