Yesterday's Ways to Use It challenge was to use scraps to make our projects. Today I dumped my box of scraps and other assorted junk/trash into a big boot box and started diggin' and playing! It's amazing what is in there from past projects or just playing around.
The only thing on this card that was not in my scraps is the card base which measure 5x5. The green layer is a leftover from last year's Halloween treat bags for my kids at school. The flowers were cut from an anniversary card DH and I received several years ago. The ribbon was in the scrap ribbon bowl on my table and the brown layer was in the scrap paper box. Added some ink by watercoloring to the flowers which are dry embossed on an off white/vanilla cs. Used a Q tip to daub a little gold from my Krylon paint pen onto the flower centers and leaves. Edges are sponged with a creamy brown chalk ink. The brads are not really brads but a tiny dot from a CTMH set that has all kinds of bits and pieces like that to make faux embellies! Thanks for looking!!! Using these scraps is addictive and my table is cleaning cleaner and cleaner!!!
