This is it! I finally finished all the DTGD challenges and hardly a moment to spare. I combined the last 4 I needed: Jen's sketch, this was a tough one and I had to adapt it to fit Amy's 3 1/4" x 6 1/2" card (along w/ the something clear; Carole's primary color combo, and Julia's stitching. Almost forgot this one. I had just stuck the front to the card when I realized it. Pulled it off quick and did a little hand stitching. This actually worked out well as it helps to tack the acetate overlay down.
My yellow center has a shooting star stamped in yellow and dotted w/ a yellow glaze pen. I used the red ink pad to go around the edges then matted it on black. The little blue rectangles were stamped w/ the white ink. These and the red ones were edged w/ the white ink, matted on yellow, then black.
I used the ribbon punch on the yellow center piece and threaded the ribbon thru and attached to the back of slightly smaller piece of black edged white c/s. All the rectangles were attached.
The greeting and the dotted star were stamped onto acetate w/ the Stazon. I lightly stuck the punched stars (Cuttlebug die) and stuck the star brad thru them and the acetate. I positioned this on the yellow rectangle and went thru it w/ the brad, to fasten on the back. I attached a couple of brads on the ends of the ribbon and did the hand stitching. Then everything was attached to the card front. TFL and it's been a super fun, whole lotta dirty challenges!
