WT177, Scrap It.
I think this is not just a card with scraps but a scrappy card.
Certainly the serendipity squares started out as a scrapper's technique, and the ribbons are too, really.
The only thing not a scrap is the card base and the stamping.
I don't often make serendipity squares even though I love the effect. I don't have a Xyron, and all that glue is so messy.
So, while we watched a DVD this evening I sorted some scraps that were all blues and greens, and tore and stuck them down onto an A4 sheet of card. When the DVD was over, I stamped all over it with Fanciful Filaments in Warm Green Chalk ink from ColorBox, and Long Writing Background with black Staz-On.
I was thinking of following yesterday's sketch challenge, which is why I cut the panels in the shape I did - but then I didn't want to cover them up, so I left it as it stands.
I punched holes all down the side along the panel, and threaded scraps of ribbon through. I scored the back of the card just beyond the punched holes, so that the card will open and not tear.
Stamped a sentiment, punched out two ovals and mounted them up on foam.
I still have loads of my serendipity paper left, so watch this space :-) http://www.scrapjazz.com/topics/Tech...ndipity/35.php - Here is a link to an article on Serendipity Scraps. Just look at the date - 2002!!
