Here's my card for today's color combo for groovy guava, sahara sand, and whisper white. I wanted to use my new CB folder, tiny mosaique, and I think it gives a nice leathery texture to the paper. Before I embossed the panels, I edged the groovy guava with my versamark pen and attached it to the white layer. For the main panel I sponged the edges with versamark and then stamped the flower with black stazon, and again on the sand so that I could paper piece it together. I again used my versamark pen to color it a bit, and then my white gel pen to add some highlights and the faux stitching. The eyelets and ribbon, then the brads in the corners finished it off.
I'm not sure if I like the color combo, but I am happy with the sketch and the flowers.
thanks for looking!
Kathryn
PS. When I woke up this morning I almost fell off my chair when I saw today's sketch challenge. Aside from the main panel being squared of instead of corner to corner, it's pretty much the same. I can't resist a challange so I'll make another this evening too!

Wow! This is really nice! It doesn't look like Groovy Guava, however, more like Only Orange. I love the embossing, but, did you CB emboss the guava-on-white panels together and cut it apart afterwards? They seem to fit together seamlessly! It's a great effect & a super layout!!

This is stunning. I kept reading your info on the versamark pen and couldn't figure it out at first. Then, looking closer, I saw how your edges are just slightly different color. Wonderful! Great dimension and great design.
