Right when you posted the challenge, the link for it was to the Crystal Clear thread, but you (or someone) seems to have fixed it. So all's well! Now I just have to get busy, in between all those ornaments and cards and presents! Oh My!

Thanks, Julia- this will be a fun challenge, when I get to it!

I am enjoying everybodys' creativity. What a great challenge Julia. It makes the best come out of everybody and they are ALL so creative!! I should be doing some bookkeeping instead of enjoying the work done here . So off I go.

Default sticky strip to the rescue

Well...I was hoping that I could keep those pictures in the gallery...but the powers that be deemed them not stamp worthy.

So here they are in thumbnails.

Today I had to sew on a bunch of patches onto my DH's and son's scouting uniforms. After several frustrating attempts to sew them on straight, pricked and sliced fingers, ripped out seams...I decided to use sticky strip as a stablizer.

And boy, did it ever work wonders for me!! Made sewing on the patches simple, easy, quick...and best of all STRAIGHT. Here are the pix I tried uploading to the "clothing" gallery. I still think they should be accepted into the gallery...sticky strip is a stamping thing!

Feeling terribly guilty about making a non-Christmas card this morning so I whipped up another card for this challenge. I love this designer paper, definately one of my favorites, but haven't been able to bring myself to use it. What is it about that anyway? But it looks much better on the card than filed in my paper box.
Here's my guilt free holiday card:

This is terrific -- apparently the powers that be have never ever sewn patches or badges to a scout uniform. So clever Dawn!

I have been working like a dhirvish since yesterday. The sketch was perfect for cards to give to my teen Bible study kids and the kids in my sewing classes...almost done 23 and they qualify for today too!!! But my kids have gym class in 30 min. so I have to run them for it (Homeschool). I'll try to get these done after we get back - this was fun hard work...

I can finally do one of the challenges! Everyone has been sick around here lately so I haven't had time to take part in a challenge in so long.
I love to use punches and this is a card I came up with using the faux metal tag technique.

I just recently got a new Christmas stamp and the ticket corner punch -- LOVE that punch!!!

Here's my card: http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...&what=keywords

*A disclaimer: Again, my card did NOT photograph well -- the colors really do match and it's not blurry in person, sigh...*

I've had my cutter kit for a month or so but have just started to use it. So much less tiresome than roughing up edges by hand! I also really needed to clean up my stamp area so I did so (sort of) by using up some leftover images from this weeks color challenge.

Happy Together

Thanks for a wonderful challenge, Julia!

Another Product Parade idea: my ranger adirondack alcohol inks - I used them on this project.

Has anyone used these? OMG! These inks are awesome - I recommend getting a craft mat so they don't soak into your stamping surface because they WILL penetrate paper and solid surfaces. I love these inks!

Default WT90 Stamped Ornament Topper

This was certainly a novel challenge. I am not sure what's new to everyone else but these inks and Top Boss are new to me. And I have plans to make several more of these ornaments as gifts to my other stamper friends.

This card is really elegant, and simple IRL. Wish the embossing on the Glossy White cs showed better, but you CAN see it!!

Here is my masculine gift card holder for the guys. I had to mount the jingle bell stamp to make this card, so I guess that is new enough. The ribbon is new for me too.

This was a really cool challenge! I have so many new products that don't get enough playing time. I decided to feature my Cricut, since it's the most expensive...and most neglected!
