Carla, Here as this week's Ways to Use It hostess. This is my last challenge on the Ways To Use It design team. Other activities and hobbies are pulling me in a different direction. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time with the team, dreaming up challenges, creating samples and working with wonderful teammates! Thank you Cathy, Lisa, Sabrina and Toni for your inspiration and camaraderie. I'll still be making cards and looking for inspiration from your challenges
And now on to the challenge! The first postage stamp issue of the United States was offered for sale, July 1, 1847, in New York City. I want to see how you use postage stamps on your creation. Do you have some cancelled stamps you've ripped from envelopes? I've seen some pretty cool designs. Or, you use a stamped image or try your hand at the Faux Postage technique. When you've finished your creation, upload your card with the keyword
When you've finished your creation, upload your card with the keyword WT803 and then come back and share a link here - that makes it easy for people to find your card. It's especially appreciated by the hostesses!!
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Here's the link for the WT803 gallery. Take a look and spread some love around by leaving comments for your fellow crafters!
Here's my card Carla, I'm sad to see you're leaving the team, I've always loved your challenges, and I hope to see your cards in the gallery, thank you for all you've done!!
Oh Carla...sorry to see you leaving the WT team but I know your fab creations will continue! Thanks for this one....I got this idea while taking my morning walk ;)

For today's postage stamp challenge- here's two creations- I made this bear themed stamp for my envelope using a postage stamp background, a bear stamp, and some watercolors. Added a fussy cut 48 cent in the lower right corner- and one with a furever for its postage label. Here's bear postage stamp- 48 centsand furever bear postage stamp
