Thanks for the challenge. I had to dig my pastels out of the bottom drawer and dust them off, but they worked just like new. Why did I ever stop using these? So much fun!

Check out my card here.

For the life of me I can't remember where I learned this or what it's called, but back when I was a newbie I learned this technique where you actually use pastel/chalk scrapings for the background. I magnified part of the card so you can see it, it's a soft, subtle look that almost looks like paint splatters. I wish I had some of my old cards, they showed up a little better, maybe because I used darker colored pastels and a few different colors. Well, I try to come up with another example later

This card has been in my gallery for a long time. It is one of the first cards I ever posted to SCS. I love the Poppin Pastel Technique because if you work it you can get amazing detailed results - like an actual pastel painting! I know that Poppin Pastel Technique can be quick and easy, but something like this wolf takes more time. Enjoy!

Default Mini Notepads

So I saved this to the gallery days and days ago, then forgot to post here to the challenge!!! Duh....

Mini notepads that used chocolate chip chalk over versamark for soft background! Very fast and fun, though stamp-a-ma-jigs don't work well on these small surfaces! Whaaaaaa.....

Thanks for looking Here you go Here's my WT78
