It's Thursday and time for a Ways to Use It Challenge. Carla, here as your hostess. I want you to Focus on the Negative! Show us how you use negative space. Here are some options, use the negatives (openings) from your die cuts, color just the negative space, and some fun SCS tutorials: Split Negative, Color Blocking with Cardstock, Moonlight Silhouette.
When you've finished your creation, upload your card with the keyword WT742 and then come back and share a link here - that makes it easy for people to find your card. It's especially appreciated by the hostesses!!
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE. Here's the link for our WT742 gallery. Take a look and spread some love around by leaving comments for your fellow crafters!

Had a chance to experiment with the color blocking with cardstock technique, using my double balloon punch. Fussy cut the scissors, and added baker's twine and a drawn balloon string to my trio of balloons. Did a bit of red zig zags for fun, and re purposed a sentiment and striped paper layout from my stamping friend Cheryl. Here's creative balloons

I reassembled the cut outs from a rose sticker in my Love Today Background Planner kit, then coloured in the open bits with Flirty Flamingo Stampin Blends.
I approached the negative in a different way for this one. I had used a large gold rose sticker from my Love Today Planner Kit when I put the kit together. The cut-out bits were still on the original sheet, so I cut a margin around the outside, place it on cardstock, and then re-assembled the cut-outs onto it. I was a bit out in spots, but it really doesn't make a big difference. I then used my Flirty Flamingo light Stampin Blend alcohol ink pen to add in the colour.
