Will look forward to seeing all the cards tomorrow. I have some of this so can play along. Some day I'll have this all worked out and upload all my cards. Love all the different challenges and the beautiful work every one does. So much talent. I guess you would say I'm a stalker because I'm always on here late at night and always look to see if anything has been posted. Hope Julie has a good time with her Mom and kids. Thanks for filling in for her. Janet

Hi Heather...thanks for posting the challenge this week...and thanks for posting it early. This will be a difficult one for me, I have the mesh but never can quite figure out what to do with it! I will do this challenge, but it will have to wait a day or so...I've got swaps to finish first .
I'll be watching to see what everyone else does though...It's gonna be fun and inspiring.

OMG Heather, I can't believe one of my cards was used as an example. Thank you so much. I've got to call my demo and tell her about it. She'll be right on to check it out. We must have mental telepathy! I uploaded a card late last night using the Magic Mesh again. I just love that stuff! I love how easy it sticks with no mess. Anyway, here's the card I uploaded and another one I did a couple of weeks ago. I can't wait to play again today. Thanks for a great challenge. Julia -- enjoy your time with your Mom! I love when my Mom comes into town and we can spend some quality time catching up and going shopping, lunch, everything. We make it a totally "girls time". Jerri

Having the heads up for the challenge I made this yesterday. Today I will be at work for awhile and won't have time.

I still want to come up with something that uses it other than just for texture in a backgound. I am anxious to see everyone creations.

Wonderful challenge, Heather. I have a ton of this stuff, plus a huge roll of drywall tape & seldom use it, because I just plain forget that it's here. Here's one I made last week for the VSN Invite challenge using drywall tape that I embossed.
VSN Invite
I got the instructions for embossing this stuff from either another site or a magazine (can't remember which), but it is really very easy. Stick your piece of mesh on a piece of scrap paper. Rub with versamark. Sprinkle on EP & shake off excess. Heat, then peel the mesh off the scrap paper & put on your project. You end up with embossing powder on your scrap paper, because it's pretty hard not to get any ink on that, but the cool thing is that it won't pick up with the mesh when you pull it off the scrap paper.

How Humbling!
Among all of these talented stampers, I am soooooo humbled by having my card used as an example!
Now I can't use my sample in the thread and have to make something else. I just made some glassine paper from a previous TLC challenge that I haven't used/tried yet. Surely I can figure a way to put them both together. Thanks for the challenge, Heather!

Jeanne's already checking out her cheesecloth & canvas stamps. How about an onion bag? Or a piece of window screen?

Here are two from my gallery made a while back. I used dry wall tape since I had no magic mesh.
Fishing
Soccer All Star
Hope those work. My computer is being as slow as tar, so I will have to come back and check everyone's stuff out when I have more time. I'm sure they are all wonderful.
Thanks for looking at mine!

WT52 & TLC24 Combo
I combined the magic mesh combo with the TLC24 (Faux Glassine).
I tried stamping on top of the mesh, to no avail. No ink seems to really "stick" (didn't try staz-on, but only have SO in 3 colors). Besides.... the images are only picked up in bits and pieces on the mesh. I will try stamping on the mesh again using a very bold and large stamp using Staz-on(Island Blossoms wasn't bold enough)!
Blah, blah, blah. Here is my card from this morning. Will play more with stamping ON the mesh later:

Thanks for reminding me I have Magic Mesh. Forgot I bought it a couple months ago so I haven't used mine yet. Better clean my stamping desk so I can play today. Love all the cards I've seen so far.

Wendy, do you have a screened porched? Just cut a strip out, take your dog's paw and scruff it up and tell hubby the dog did it. Just don't show him your card. Now he's got a perfect weekend chore and it will get him out of the house so that you can stamp.
