Here's mine - I couldn't think of anything very exciting to do with the tool kit mat so I just used the big holes to line up where I needed to punch.

Thanks for the push to use the paper piercing template. I've had it a long time and have only used it once or twice.

Here's mine.

I used the piercing mat to line up the holes for my ribbon, and then used the anywhere punch to cut them. Come on, girls! I need some more ideas on how to use this mat!

Oh Julia - no need for defense! Being on the West Coast I almost always check the next day's challenge just before bed just in case someone got a jump on it. Lately they've been up the night before more and more. Just makes me giggle.

Good luck with that teething. Hope you'll be getting more sleep!

My order with my mat pack comes tomorrow - I can hardly wait!

I didn't have a lot of time to play yesterday, but before bed, I thought I would give it a shot. Here's my faux stitching which is holding on a "faux layer" I will try to get more original later with the piercing, but the faux stitching is new to me, so I am really experimenting with different types of "stitching! Thanks for looking!

I have had my mat pack for several months and use it constantly. I got a pack of doll making darning needles at Joanne's. Here are a couple of cards in my gallery. The 1st uses the larger holes for eyelet placements. Perfect every time The 2nd card uses the smallest holes for stitching. I do not have a sewing machine so works great for faux stitching. I hope to make a new card later. I highly recommend adding the mat pack to the top of your wishlist. Nancy

I am home from work today, and was looking to see if today's challenge was posted. Since it wasn't I was looking through this one from last week, and realized I recently made a card using the larger holes from the mat pack! I used it to line up the holes on this card to "cross-stitch" the gingham through. It was very handy!

TFL,
Julia, is that SU grosgrain you used on this card? I know they don't have a cameo ribbon, but whatever you used matches very well!! (I'm a ribbon-aholic...I have all the SU grosgrains!)

I think I used the rose grosgrain and it looked pretty good IRL with the cameo.

I did some faux stitching on a card yesterday, but I can't post it. It was actually my second attempt. My first didn't work so well. I punched this whole row, only to find when I lifted off the template that I had made a very nice CURVED line of punches! Needless (no pun intended - ouch!) to say, I was not happy & had to trim it off. That card did not get any faux stitching. But, my 2nd attempt turned out great & I will be making another, maybe later today.

I would like to enter a challenge, but how do I know if they are current or old ones? Are the ones listed on the home page the ones for this week, last week or next week? It seems everyone for the one I wanted, WT45 Which Way to Use it, has uploaded a week ago. Could someone please explain the process to me, thanks. Linda

Now I really feel stupid, I have no idea how to get the PM, which I assume is private message. Thanks so much for responding, hopefully I'll figure all this out eventually.

Linda, I am so sorry! I know just how you feel, though. It wasn't that long ago for me. There are actually several ways to get to your PMs. One is to look up at the top right side of your screen where is says 'Welcome, Dig This Stamper'. Just to the right is an envelope with a number. Click on that & it will take you to your PM inbox. Click on the title of the PM to open it. If you want to reply, there is a reply box near the bottom of the PM. Another box to delete, etc.

Default OK, so I'm a little slow...

I am really late on getting to this challenge, but I finally used my piercing template for some faux stitching. I combined this with TLC50 Have a Heart. Here's my heart pocket card with the heart inside and pulled out.
