WT310 Stunning SILHOUETTES (2/17/11)
Hello everyone
The Challenge.
Silhouette Stamping
Details.
use BLACK INK to make a bold statement on your project (do not use any other ink color than black)
Tips. (suggestions)
1. bold images makes the best silhouettes
2. heat emboss for added interest
3. silhouette images are usually not colored
4. color a stamped image with a black pen to make our own silhouette
Please remember to put WT310 in your keywords section and post a link back here so that we can all see your beautiful creations. Feel free to create as many projects as you wish but keep in mind that this is not a contest. Use this challenge as inspiration and hopefully you see your creativity flourish. You can combine this challenge with another
My sample: So Sorry For Your Loss
WT310 Gallery Submissions: HERE
I will do my very best to comment on each and every project but there may be times that I simply will not be able to.
Thank you so much for playing along.
I hope you have fun creating!
Kim

Fun challenge! I just finished a silhouette image, but I didn't use black ink Went for a pastel instead. Oh well. I'll have to see if I can do another tomorrow.

A good friend's father passed away today, and I want to make a special card. I think this is just the idea that I needed. Will work on it tomorrow.
 Thanks!

I did a silhouette one last night for today's sketch challenge, didn't use black neither. Oh well, off to create again. Thanks for posting.

HERE is mine. The main image is stamped in black, while the sentiment & branch are stamped in London Fog. I have never tried to do much sponging/masking but I enjoyed doing this one and I like the result. I CASEd this card from STAMPUNSTRESS . I fell in love with the design and was intrigued by the sponging so I had to give it a try.

Thanks for this challenge, Kim!
I had this foliage image in mind when I read your challenge, and let it evolve into a birthday card (with a black embossed Birthday Wishes sentiment inside).

Great STUNNING BLACK SILHOUETTE challenge. The gallery will sure be beautiful today. I might just have to make a few more black silhouette cards and see what else I can come up with.
