Anyone up for a fun challenge today? I decided to get really inky the other day and have fun with the collage style. It was a great change of pace and I thought you might like the challenge to give it a whirl too. So...your challenge today is to find ways to use COLLAGE in your project. I can't wait to see what your take on it is!
If you're not sure about what collage is, it's fairly wide open to interpretation but here's an on-line definition...
collage - definition of collage by the Free Online Dictionary ...
a. An artistic composition of materials and objects pasted over a surface, often with unifying lines and color
Have fun with it!
Please remember to put WT256 in your keywords section and post a link back here. We'd all love to see your work! This challenge is open to as many new creations as you wish to make. Please link only newly uploaded creations as we want to get you stamping.
Not my regular style either, but I'll do my best. I've been thinking of using up some old Christmas paper for some Serendipity squares, so that could be a starting point.
A challenging challenge, Julia! As I said in my description, I've always felt collages take a lot of artistic talent. I consider myself a good craftsperson, but not an artist with a capital "A". Nonetheless, this was a LOT of fun...using supplies I haven't touched in months...if not years! Thanks.
WOW, what a great challenge Julia. I am not very good at collage so I rarely even attempt it. I did like the results of today's efforts. I have been studying collages that I like trying to figure out what I liked about them. I love the collages that use my favorite colors and had lots of different textures. That is where I started with my card.

Thanks for a fun challenge, Julia! I wasn't sure that I would be able to do this, but gave it a try anyway. I was pleased with my result!!
For some reason, my card doesn't seem to be showing up in the challenge gallery. Hopefully, it will catch up eventually. In the meantime, you can see my card here:
