WT190 - Get Cracking!
Good morning! I hope you're ready to get cracking on this challenge as it's a fun one! Today I'm challenging you to find ways to use cracking in your designs. Now what do I mean by that? How about the cracked glass technique, Crackle Accents, Distress Crackle paint, or any other way you can think of to get a crackle look on your design. Have fun with it!
Please remember to put WT190 in your keywords section and post a link back here so that we can all see your work! There is no time limit to this challenge...just have fun creating as your schedule allows. Please upload new creations only...this challenge is to get you creating!

Oh what fun Julia and thank you for this awesome challenge. I've never done anything like that before so this will be perfect. Friends, I'm at work today, as usual anymore practically living here, so I'll get mine done later tonight. I don't know if the rest of you have been experiencing this but when I try to leave comments, it's taking about 3 minutes per comment just to upload and everything is really slow for this website right now, but did want to let you know that I've seen some great work by all of you and really enjoy it.
I hope all of you have a very blessed day and please keep me in your prayers. This GERD is not getting any better and I'm going to have to change medication to find something that will keep this at bay because the pain is excruciating. I was almost in tears last night over it.
This was much longer than I intended and I'm sorry about that. God bless you.

Hmmm, good challenge. Not familiar with any "cracked" things. Will have to check out the resource area. Have tried the crackle paint and really, REALLY did NOT like it at all. But sure am looking forward to seeing what everyone does. What a fabulous learning tool I've got here!

Thanks Julia.... sounds fun... I'll try to play later on... gone most of the day today!
Cindy,
I'm having the same problem with making comments.... takes forever for it to "upload". I can't make as many as usual...
Hope you feel better soon. GERD is miserable... I have it too and getting the right meds is key! Feel better!!!!

thanks Julia! I had colored the image here on a slow day at work and it was perfect for doing cracked glass on. I love the bright colors with the old and craked look, a wonderful juxtaposition! http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...0&ppuser=42694

Hurry scurry
I had to hurry and make a quick one this morning, so I kept it simple. I used the weathered bg for my cracking. Thanks Julia.

I've never tried cracked glass before, so maybe this is the day. Mind you, I've had UTEE panels crack accidentally, with probably the same effect! Thanks for this inspiring challenge. Off to the resources section now .

Spooky, Julia! We must be on the same wavelength... I just made a card using the cracked glass technique for the first time! Yay! Love it when that happens! Here's:

This was really difficult for me....and I'm not really sure I like the finished card, but I'm trying to learn new things, so let me know what you think. Thanks for your comments!

Can't wait to see what others do with the cracked paint technique. I had to settle for the antique cracking BG stamp, but by cracky I did it! THINKING CRACKLE
