WT149 - Embossing Powder Rerun
Good morning! This week we're having another rerun challenge...going wayyyy back to one of the first WT challenges ever. This week the challenge is to use EMBOSSING POWDER in your design. I'm not sure about you, but I rarely reach for my ep anymore and so this seems like a great challenge to work with it again. Get creative! Try embossing something new, try an embossing technique, use Extra Thick Embossing Powder, scented embossing powder...whatever you wish...have some fun with it!
Please remember to put WT149 in your keywords section and post a link back here so that we can all see your design. Feel free to make as many NEW creations as you wish and as always...there are no time limits and this is not a contest. This is a personal challenge and is just for fun and to stretch your creativity.

It's funny. I will go long periods without doing any embossing of any kind, but I just said Monday in my challenge post, that I seem to be on an embossing kick lately, I've been doing it in almost every card. So this is timely for me. I'll see if I can find a way I don't usually use this. Back later after stamping!

I just made my project for the next tutorial. I can't share the whole thing, but the accent of it is embossed. I really like how it turned out.

I'm LOVING using my embossing powder, for a long time I didn't use them b/c I didn't like dragging out my heat gun, but I so love the effect that I've been using it a lot lately.
Here's two samples.. its the same stamp set and paper and layout, just swapped out the main image and switched the way the ribbon was added.

I LOVE EP so this one will be easy for me! Love the samples -- something I've NOT done is a solid image on patterned paper, so that's my tweak on the challenge.

I was up earlier than usual so I had time to play this morning before homeschool. Anyway, I have two cards for the challenge today. The first one I made this morning using a double embossing technique. The second card I made the other day for the Kickstand challenge and I was unable to upload it that day. It also works well here, so I thought I would share it in both places.
