WT110 - Orchid Opulence
Good morning & Happy Thursday! The week is almost over! Today's Ways to Use it Challenge was suggested by markie's mom who, like many others, rarely uses Orchid Opulence. I too, never seem to use it so I thought it was a great challenge idea. If you don't have any Stampin Up Orchid Opulence cardstock or ink...you may use a differenet company with a similar bright purple color. I think this is a great time of year to pull it out and have some fun!
Please remember to put WT110 in your keywords section and post a link back here so that we can all enjoy your design! There are no time limits or contests...just have fun. You can make a card or any other papercraft project you wish. If you wish to link a previously created card...please limit it to one and create a new one as well! Thanks!
My Sample - Orchid Wish
Trudee's Sample - Glittery Orchid
Can you tell I'm dreaming of beach weather?!
Have a fabulous day!

I'll have to go through my stack of DP to see if I can find a starting place for this challenge. Won't be able to do anything until I get home from work though. Thanks, Julia -- I don't use Orchid Opulence much either.

So excited I might be able to get this in before work. Thanks Markie's Mom for the suggestion. Just don't use this color at all but I still enjoy it. Thanks Julia and Trudee for your fab samples! Off to stamp.

Fabulous suggestion from Faith/Markie's Mom! I love this color for clothes (seriously -- I have at least four tops in this exact shade, and a couple of coordinating skirts. Hmmm... inspiration?!), but have never even broke the shrink wrap on my inkpad! Off to stamp...

What a great idea! Too late now for me to start anything, but I can think about it at work today and come up with something this evening!

It did seem to fade more than my others---was it because of age or just the paper---america wants to know!

I literally just made this Tuesday, so I'm going to post it, but I'll make another tonight if I can. This is with the new Double Line Doodles that we got at Virginia Beach Regionals, and I used what I'm calling 'faux designer paper' which was demonstrated at Regionals too. I am LOVING this technique and I just made 2 more last night with the stripes, so please look at them in my gallery too. (I like my pink and green one even better than this Orchid one!)

It's funny that you picked OO because last week I finished ordering all the bold bright reinkers, except for OO! I may have to order it after seeing all the great cards from this challenge!

No coffee for me yet! I NEED some! That is next on the list! Actually I was awakened at five with a sick baby and just couldn't go back to sleep! I knew the day might not go smoothly (LOL Does it ever with five kids?!) and thought I'd better get it up or it might not happen!
