Welcome back to school! All of our Ways to Use It challenges for the month of September will have a back to school theme. Your projects do NOT have to be school related, but all of our challenges will tie back to something about school.
Since it's the first week of school, I'm gonna make your assignment easy - let's paint! painter2.gif
Go sparingly or go nuts! Any type of paint will do, and to ease yourself back into school, we're going stretch those rules... Anything that isn't a stamp pad or sprays ink will count as paint, to include Stickles, Glimmer Glaze, or Liquid Pearls to name a few.
All teachers have contests that kick off the first day of school, and our Ways to Use It school is no exception!
Our bonus for you is that we will feature YOUR card along with our hostess samples. Our hostesses have some hints for you hidden in their cards and posts and if you can guess what their challenge is (or if you have the closest guess) then your card will be featured when that challenge is posted!
So look carefully at the hostess gallery uploads for clues, and here are some hints:
Don't forget to use WT338 in your card post in the gallery... I can't wait to see your painted works of art, and be sure to "enter" into our bonus challenge. painter.gif

I was thinking the same thing, but I "painted" with reinkers yesterday, so I think I'll try something different today!
Reinkers aren't a stamp pad and as long as you don't put them in a mister and spray, you're good! Remember - the homework the first week of school is always pretty easy... ;)

Fun challenge, Michelle. I already had my watercolors out from yesterday's challenge...so just continued on in that vein. Thanks for the many samples....I never peek at the gallery until I've upload my own card.

The bonus is very interesting, but I don't get it. I guess I am already flunking out. I don't get it.
The bonus has to do with the coming week's challenges. When you visit the linked blog post, you can guess at what the challenge is for that coming week. If you guess correctly, you can make a sample to post along with the hostess sample that week. Make sense?
This is school related too...I can remember when my daughter started back to school in the fall...I was SOOO thankful...'cause she was driving me crazy by the end of summer saying..."I'm booooored!!" LOL!

I went to our state fair today which may have been why I chose the stamp that I did ..for this card ...I am totally exhausted and am going to collapse on the couch! Thanks for looking.
