Good morning! Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends! I hope you have wonderful plans with special people this year. There is so much to be thankful for. I am thankful for all the friends I have made and creative inspiration I have received from this site. I am thankful for all of you who take the time to create with me each week. Thank you!
Todays' challenge is a theme of product I've found to be a hot trend in the industry right now...tickets. I'm loving this trend from ticket style stamps, embellishments, punches, die cuts, chipboard etc. It's such a fun look and spans so many different styles from cute to trendy to vintage. I'd like to challenge you today...or later if you're busy cooking...to join in this challenge and find ways to use TICKETS. I can't wait to see the fun spin you put on this challenge. Stamp them, die cut them, use premade embellishments or even vintage tickets. Get creative and have some fun!
Please remember to put WT298 in the keywords section and post a link back here. We'd all love to see your work.
I've certainly been seeing a lot of these - but as all I have remotely near the challenge is the ticket corner punch I might have to pass on this, unless I can find an old Metro ticket in one of our guide books .
FUN! I always have a hard time with tickets, so a challenge it will be! I am going to try to create something before going to my mom's for the afternoon and evening. I will be too full and stuffed later to make anything! LOL!
Thanks, Julia!

Why not make your own ticket with the ticket corner punch?
Happy Thanksgiving to all, even if you do not celebrate Thanksgiving today we all have much to be thankful for....... I may be able to play later today, right now I am off to pick up the pies my mom has made then finish my preperations.
Fun! After everyone goes home, I will look around and see what I have. Thank you for posting one today! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! And just Happy Day to you Julia!
Sounds like fun. I know I put a string of draw tickets in the recycle bin last week. I'll have to dig them out! (good thing it's only got paper in it!)
I don't know if the Ontario in your location is in California or Canada, so I will wish you and all my stamping sisters in the U.S, a happy Thanksgiving!

Have a wonderful day Julia and thanks for all you do for all of us. Happy Thanksgiving to all the people who participate on SCS. I feel blessed to be able to see and share with such creative people. Maybe I will be able to participate after family time!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Even if you don't live where the holiday is celebrated, I pray that Thanksgiving is in your hearts every day!
Great challenge, Julia. But I really don't think I have any ticket punches, stamps, dies or dp. I have wanted the little corner ticket punch, but haven't gotten around to ordering it. If I can find some kind of substitute, I'll join in the fun.
I too am thankful for Splitcoast and all my creative friends here as well as the opportunity to learn and to share. This is the best thing since the cross stitch group I was in during the early 90s. Nothing like crafting to bring people together.

I wrote a tutorial for my blog on how to create tickets back in October of 2007 if you'd like to check it out - pretty easy, actually! The ticket I made for the tutorial was never uploaded here until today, but you can see it HERE, if you're interested...
Thank you Julia for the challenge! I finally accomplished something! I didn't have tickets, but had seen others punch off the corners, so that is what I did!
Here is I'm No Quitter!
