WT99 - Glorious Green?
Your challenge this week is to use another color that I rarely use or see in the gallery. Glorious Green is piling up in the cardstock file and I need to find some uses for it. If you are like me, it is probably one of your least favorite SU colors so the challenge is to see if you can find ways to make it fresh again. You don't even need to use it as the main color, just as an accent or a layer is OK with me!
Make sure that you tune in and play next week! I have a really fun challenge planned with prizes donated by Jacksonbelle Embellishments and Stamping Bella and myself. Thanks so much for your continued support and prayers. My mom is currently waiting more treatment. It is wonderful to have her home from the hospital right now. Please remember to put WT99 in your keywords section and post a link back here so that we can all see your work! Oops! Forgot to add my card! LOL http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...00&ppuser=9338 Happy stamping! |
Good one! That's a color I find hard to use. :)
Prayers for your mom, and thank you for the great challenge for today, hmmm, off to see what I can do...
Awesome, hope I can play today!
What a great challenge!
Oh, good one, Julia - I'm on it!
Fun Julia!
Thanks for the challenge. Off to stamp....
OOOOO - this really is a challenge!! Thanks Julia, hope your mom is doing better.
Great challenge! I *never* use this color! Thanks Julia!
ok.....got to make a couple of cards today anyway....will have to see if I can use this in them!!!
Oh gosh!! I was just thinking the same about that color the other day! Guess I should try to put it to use! Thanks, Julia!
Good one Julia, I don't seem to use Glorious Green all that much either!
Glorious Green, Glorious Green.....what to do with Glorious Green....hmmmm...I'll be cogitating upon this one today until I can play this evening!
should be intereting, the last time I used Glorious green was for my St. Patrick's Day cards last year..lol
Great challenge, Julia. Your card is awesome! Glorious green looks great with green galore -- in case anyone needs a jump start! :D
I am so behind on the challenges for the last couple of weeks. That's what happens when I have to fit classes and workshops into my schedule - but that's a good thing. I'm actually working on a card for last week's challenge, but I will try to get this one done, too. Maybe I can double up. |

Thanks for the challenge! |
I think I am up for this challenge today... hopefully my boys will let me play!!! I do find that this is a color I also do not use a lot!!!
Here is one from my gallery - I will attempt a new one today - maybe I can use up the rest of my green striped scraps!!!
Wow. Now this is a challenge! ;)
Sounds fun!
This is a challenge, I hardly ever reach for the Bold Brights. I know I have plenty on hand...;) Off to see what I can create while giving a spelling test to my 1st grader.
Julia, Glorious green? I just threw up a little in my mouth. Really? Are you serious? For sure? Dang...I might have to break my challenge streak. I am not sure I can make something show worthy with glorious green!

Green is my favorite color, and I would love a shirt or something in GG, but it's never occurred to me to actually use it yet, though I have the paper and ink... I'll get on this later tonight, hopefully. Have to drive 8 hours round trip to take my two-year old to the pediatric orthopaedist today... Yes, that's me and a two year old and non-stop Blue's Room, Barney, and Elmo DVDs for 8 hours of drive time -- so whatever you're doing today, know that you could have it worse!! At least I'll have this challenge to think about on the road. By the time I actually get around to executing, it should really be something! |

SPEW!!! Beate, you are hilarious! I never use Glorious green, either!!! This is definitely a challenge!!! |
I love these pop up cards - they are so quick and easy to make. I like Glorious Green - go figure!
Ruff Day? Thanks for looking. |
aarg! no glorious green CS or ink here. I do have pastels, but I don't know if I am up to that!
thanks Julia... it is a neglected color and whenever I use it I really like it and think "Now why don't I use it more often!"
hugs to you and your mom;) |
Here is my try. I'm so glad we used some of this color. It is the one I go for the least.

And now for something entirely different!
I wanted to try some different colors with the glorious green, but I like the result. I hope you like it too.
A Rose |
Hmmmmm....glorious green. You're right, this is challenging. Hopefully I will get the chance to play today.
Y'all make me laugh |
Glad to hear that your mom is home and doing better. My prayers go out to you and your family. Thanks for the great challenge. I hardly ever use that color so it will be nice to see what I can come up with. Your sample is just gorgeous.
