Default WT914 - Layers - 09/15/22

Hello and Happy Thursday, Friends!

Yes, today is all about layers. Not layers of paper though, we are using layers of stamps. Many different stamp companies produce multi-step stamps or stamps designed to be layered on top of each other to produce a beautifully detailed image. Let's see what you have in your collection of stamps that fits the bill.

No worries if you don't have any layering stamps, you can still play along by using a kissing technique to layer your stampsl

Kissing

Kissing with a Twist

Kissing Joseph's Coat (this one looks a bit like a faux kissing technique)

A big thank you Lisa, Sabrina and Polly for helping me out this week with some projects featuring gorgeous layered images. Remember to use the keyword, WT914, when uploading your project so that we can all see your creations. It helps if you link it up back here too. You can view the entire gallery for the challenge HERE.

Need help linking your project? Follow these instructions!

1. Open 2 windows: One window for your project and one for this thread.

2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.

3. Go to your project window. Highlight the address for your project. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)

4. Click EDIT. Click COPY.

Great challenge, Toni. I have noticed more and more stamp companies releasing layered stamps lately. I remember Kitchen Sink Stamps years ago offering this style of stamps....we have a couple of "masters" here on SCS with those stamps.

SO THANKFUL

It’s weird being the same age as old people.

A fellow stamper (Lisa, AKA: ShoeGirls) told me that my card would fit this challenge perfectly. I do hope she was not joking:

You're the Sweetest

Thanks for Looking!

Fun challenge. Prompted me to pull out a set I had not used in a long time.

This was fun! I remembered this old SU set with layered stamps that I think has sweet images.
Here is my card.

Comment on being the same age as old people. Yesterday, my husband and myself joined another couple for breakfast. When we left, I had mentioned how old my friend was looking. His response was we all are old. Grrr
