Hello everyone...happy Thursday! Cathy here with this week's Ways to Use It Challenge.
Now that Thanksgiving is over I am looking for some different ways to use the leftovers. Some people can throw a little of this and a little of that together and end up with a tasty meal. Not me...I need a recipe! So, I thought it would be fun to follow a crafty recipe for our challenge today.
Follow this recipe to create your card: Use 1 word Use 2 images Use 3 colors You might even be able to use a few leftovers on your creation! Here is my card sample: Snowmen Recipe
Check out the wonderful samples created by Sabrina, Lisa and Carla in the thumbnails below.
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE
Cathy, your fun challenge made me think and the results were a CAS card. Astonishing for me ;) Thanks for the inspiration, here's my card WT716 Merry Elves.
My DH brought me this cup from his morning fast food breakfast- I punched out the circle with the advertisement, flipping it over and gluing on my 2 images. Added some sparkly trim for my bottom horizontal border, and affixed a hand written sentiment. Here's Coffeetime

Yay! I got a chance to play along today and what a wonderful challenge! Thank you Cathy! When I was almost done I realized that my word actually is a 3rd stamp. Oops!
While I was posting it I decided it would have taken at least 3 kinds of needles to really stitch this card so I called it Needles to Say.
