14 Attachment(s)
Lisa here as your hostess for this weeks WTUI challenge.
I recently got some fun new gels and pastes and I love trying them out on stencils. This week is all about stencils. If you do not own any stencils you can create your own simply die cutting a cardstock and using either the die cut or the negative. Also there are some amazing techniques using stencils found here: Faded Water Stenciling Tutorial - Splitcoaststampers Duo Texture Stenciling Tutorial - Splitcoaststampers Stencil Embossing Tutorial - Splitcoaststampers Double Stencil Resist Tutorial - Splitcoaststampers I can't wait to see how you use a stencil on your cards this week. Here is a link to our gallery: Stencils Here's my sample: Class of 2021 If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how: 1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE. We have wonderful cards this week from the very creative team. Please see check out their amazing cards. |

Lisa - you gave me a good excuse to give stencilling with Indigo Blu's Slap-it-on-thick and Luscious powders another go so I have added 3 stencil cards to the gallery tonight.

I am working toward my "Challenge Catch-Up" goal! This card is for an Alpha friend who needs a Hug! and is the Teapot recipient for the week of 7.5.22.
My card was made with a homemade stencil from the flower bouquet in Artistic Dies by Stampin' Up. This card is the negative inking resulting from using that stencil. Here is the card produced with the cardstock stencil itself: My Daughter Grows Beautiful Flowers! Here is my card: Hugs for Kandie! |
