WT813 - Shadow Stamping (10/8/20)
Hello friends...Cathy here with a new Ways to Use It Challenge.
Today's challenge is to use Shadow Stamping on your card or project. Creating a shadow is a fun technique and adds depth and dimension on your card. Shadow Stamping can be done with stamps or stencils. Shadows can be achieved by stamping an image with one color and then off setting the image slightly and stamping it again with a different color. One layer can be white embossed. The same look can be achieved by sponging white ink through a stencil, shifting the stencil slightly and then sponging with a different color. The team has samples using both of these techniques in the thumbnails below. I have several links to tutorials below for your inspiration: SCS Shadow Stamping TutorialShadow Stamping with Stencils
Remember to use the keyword WT813 when uploading your project so we can see your creation in the gallery. It helps if you link your project here as well.
A big thank you to Lisa, Sabrina and Jayne for your beautiful samples!
Here's a link to the WT809 Shadow Stamping. If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)4. Click EDIT. Click COPY5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE

Your stencil sample looks beautiful, definitely going to try that today!
Here's my stamped one. I always find it hard to get the right distance of shadow, too close and it just makes my eyes dizzy. So it took 3 goes.
