WT791 Poinsettia
Loved my mosaic piece, feel meh about my use of it. But DH pointed out that I made several great cards last week and you can't win all the time. At least I won't lose that darned poinsettia any more - it's been floating around my desk since November and I couldn't find it when I wanted to use it on a Christmas tag.

I like faux silk too - maybe I'll try to work that into something over the weekend. In the meantime, I went back to the recent Adhesive Resist tutorial: WT791 Speedy Recovery

WT791 Together is wonderful
Lisa- great challenge, thanks! It took 2 attempts to get my faux silk creation presentable, but I had fun nonetheless I went with a rather large floral bunch, doing minimal coloring and adding 2 vertical borders- designer paper (left) and wash tape (right). Fussy cut my sentiment block, and did a double ribbon treatment. Here's Together is wonderful- in honor of my good natured husband who is settled at home for remote work

This was fun, I still want to try some of the other techniques too . This card is going to a wonderful friend who loves gardening just as much as me along with all sorts of homegrown flower seeds. She is one of those "true blue" friends. blue swirls by bgpunky - at Splitcoaststampers

I'm late the the gel party, but had a blast using this medium - and was so afraid to try it! It did end up making my watercolor paint go all over, lol - but it was a fun process!
Here's my Love from Home
Thanks for the great challenge!
