This week, we are using a time-tested technique that I love! We are finding ways to use faux suede. It's an easy way to add some interest to your card. Essentially, you weaken the fibers of the card stock you intend to turn to "suede" and then peel apart the layers of the paper. I run my paper between the edge of my bone folder and my thumb, like when I am curling ribbon. Others use a crimper to weaken the fibers of the paper. I'll link a previous challenge with a more detailed description.
A big thank you to Lisa, Polly, and Sabrina for helping me out this week with some super projects. Remember to use the keyword, WT906, when uploading your project so that we can all see your creations. It helps if you link it up back here too. You can view the entire gallery for the challenge HERE.
