Hello everyone and welcome to this week's WTUI Challenge! The correct word spoken at the correct time can be very empowering...your words can encourage, bring correction, instill hope and give comfort. Think of quotes that have been very meaningful to you. Your challenge today is to use a quote as the focal point on your card or project...That's a Quote!

Cathy- great challenge, thank you! I went with a cling wrap background for my main panel, using a punch to cut out and then replace my quote panel. Added some 2 step stamped blossoms for my corner border. Here's Loving Flowers

Just got back from a nice visit to Portland to see a friend- and missed my sweet bunny Staccato- so this card is dedicated to him. For this week's color challenge and Quotes challenge I went with a silhouette style background, with circle paper layered behind that. My popped out bunny and frog are from Paper Smooches. Kept my sentiment simple, used a calligraphy pen Here's bunny buddy

sometimes short quotes are even more powerful and meaningful than the whole phrases which are supposed to be deeply encouraging. My fav is "Be the best version of you". It makes me think that sky's the limit! We can always strive for being better, for being who we are, but better version of ourselves, it's essential. Humans need motivation to evolve, we need a punch in the face every time we're too lazy... That's the truth of the whole mankind, we need a punch to go, to act and to live a bright life... such a paradox, tbh
Short quotes are pretty useful, they really inspire and they're SHORT, that's definitely an advantage!

I am playing my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking and catching up on my SCS postings.

Challenged to add a meaningful quote to your card. Remember the Christmas song: "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”? I loved the next phrase "let your heart be light!" and used it as my quote. This card will always bring to mind that tune and those words!

This was a card finished in late September and posted to my blog but missed getting posted to SCS! Here is my card: An Abstract Whimsy Christmas!
