WT668 ~ Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock, It's About Time! (12/28/17)
Happy Thursday and welcome to another Ways to Use It Challenge. Carla here, as this week's hostess, for the last WTUI challenge of 2017. Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock, the year is drawing to a close. It's About Time to look back on the year. You know me and obscure holidays. Its About Time Week, Christmas Day through New Year's Eve and Tick Tock day, December 29th remind us that the year is almost at an end, the clock is ticking away and we've still got some things to get done!
So bring out your favorite time pieces!
Maybe you want something different than the traditional clock or watch. The History of timekeeping devices provides interesting information and some great pictures to inspire you.
When you've finished your creation, upload your card with the keywordWT668 and then come back and share a link here - that makes it easy for people to find your card. It's especially appreciated by the hostesses!!
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE. Here's the link for our WT668 gallery. Take a look and spread some love around by leaving comments for your fellow crafters! Below are marvelous samples from Sabrina and Lisa. Thank you ladies for sharing your creativity!
I was so happy to discover that the clock face I already had on my desk actually said Tick Tock that when I smeared the sentiment I had to stamp another one rather than gonof and create a different card. I can't imagine what it was stamped on? The top was slightly slick, hence the smudging, but the back looked like a cereal box. Anyway, here it is.. WT668 Imagine
Carla- great challenge, thanks! I went with a hand drawn hourglass, based on the photo in the history article- adding some texture with a wood grain embossed background, inked with brown, and a knotted twine embellishment. Used a black calligraphy pen for my sentiment. Here's Hourglass

Hi Miss Carla, I had this clocked picked out to CASE for the Inspiration today a while ago so I grinned and grinned seeing your challenge and then although this is not "my" favorite time piece I do find these colors to be in my favorites... IC630 Party Time! by JBgreendawn at Splitcoaststampers
