Did you know that we celebrate Afternoon Tea Week this month? Ok I didn't either. Apparently we need to get out our Earl Grey, tea cozies, biscuits, heavy cream and enjoy some tea from August 7th through the 13th. Why not!
Challenge: Feature tea items on your card or use tea as a medium to age something or stamp on a tea bag.
Make sure to put WT961 in the keyword section and update this thread so everyone can see your creation.
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how: 1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Decided to do a second card, this time with mostly browns and greens- and a yellow circle accent from the sketch challenge this week- used a wreath as a larger circle element- and dry embossing with added borders. Here's Stacked Teacups HB

Polly- great challenge, thank you! I started out with the idea of a post-card creation, with lots of embellishments and distressing- both crumpling the stamped and colored image, and applying a wet teabag to blur everything a bit. Used coral yarn for a bow, 2 die cut button/brad combos, a gathered lace border and a black die cut intricate border from my stash. Here's Snowy Postcard
