WT397 - Crazy for Crayons (10/18/12)

Hello everyone...time for another WTUI Challenge ... Crazy for Crayons ! You may have already guessed that I love to color! When I was very young, I would sit for hours with my Crayola crayons and my coloring books just coloring away. So today we're going to revert back to our childhood and dig out those crayons. You may use your Crayolas like I did, or your watercolor crayons on your card or project. I can't wait to see your Colorful Crayon Creations !
For my sample, I used the Melted Crayon Background technique, and for the poinsettias, the Crayon Resist technique. Of course you can use your crayons to just plain color as well! Remember to use the keyword, WT397 , when uploading your card so we can all see your creation. It helps if you link it up back here too. No crayola's in my house but I do have some watercolor crayons! Now let's see if I get busy and make a card today!

I'll have to go back to the drawing board on this - my first experiment with the faux batik and watercolour crayons was not successful! Fun, but not worth incorporating onto a card.

Would you believe I don't own a single solitary crayon? What's wrong with this picture?!?? And I was in HobLob just yesterday - yikes!! Guess I'll be heading back to get some crayons! ;)

What a fun challenge! I don't have anymore crayons in the house since my kids are bigger. Will try to use my watercolor crayons that have been collecting dust for the past few years.

I got out my SU Watercolor Wonder crayons which I rarely use and coloured my image with them:
