WT189 - Just One
 

Today's challenge is a little different! I know it is one that you can all play though because we all have word or sentiment stamps. Today's challenge is to find ways to use just one word on your design. Whether you create a card design or a layout... find ways to highlight that one word. It's all about distilling your thoughts down to that one word. How about hope, soar, celebrate? If you have a phrase, why not put the first word on the outside of your card and the rest inside? Highlight your word with a frame or embellishments or simply tuck one tiny word on a tab beside your image. No matter how you do it...I can't wait to see your ideas for the one word you choose. Now wait...there's a second part to this challenge! It's pink week here at SCS in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month SO... at least one tiny element of your design has to incorporate the color pink! Have fun with it!

I'm a little confused...sorry LOL. So are we to use ONLY a word stamp no images along with it or can we use and image with the word? Just want to make sure I do it correctly

I've got to get home from work early tonight and try to do this challenge. Great idea, I look forward to playing!

Love the challenge. I have a great idea for this. I am ready to pull out my stamps tonight.

I only used a couple stamped butterflies to support my word but by all means...use images to support your word if you wish. The focus of the challenge is that one word but you can use anything you wish...as long as it isn't other words. ;)

You will have to look really close to find the pink!! But the sentiment is so fitting for those who have survived breast cancer.

I think I'm gonna try this one out today :)

Ok, I think I have a card in mind that I can submit for this.....I just have to get through the work day and get home to play.......Can't wait!!!!!

Well, I did use pink and I did use "Just One" word. Hope this fits the challenge.

Ohhhhhhhh, what a great challenge! Wish I could play, but I am out of town (at the beach actually) and forgot to bring my digital camera with me (duh). I brought my cardmaking supplies, though; go figure! Oh well, I'll make them anyway and upload when I get home later next week. In the meantime, will browse the gallery and see what everyone comes up with. Have a great Thursday, everyone and will check in later to comment.
