Default WCW029 - 12/16/20 - Watercolor Powder Resist

Date: 12/16/20
Hostess: Angie (ohmypaper!)
Keyword: WCW029
Challenge: Watercolor Powder Resist

Gallery for WCW029 Submissions

Hello! Welcome to Watercolor Wednesday! I thought that since December is such a busy time, I would choose a fairly easy watercolor technique challenge this week. Sandi has recently added a beautiful tutorial here at SCS with wonderful samples. Head on over to the Watercolor Powder Resist Tutorial for all the details.

A couple of notes: Feel free to switch out the image if you are weary of winter. If you don't have watercolor powder still plan on playing along with us by using the watercolor medium you have! I can't wait to see what you create!

Thank you all for your patience today! It's been a bit wild behind the scenes. It might be fun to head on over to Lydia's gallery and leave her some lovely comments on her cards. She has worked tirelessly this week on the rollout and then the rollback! Let's put our kind thoughts on some of her gallery entries but leave her PM box free for work this week!

Remember to use the keyword WCW029 when you are uploading. It's helpful if you come back and leave a link on this thread, especially in
case you made a typo and people may not find your card.

If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how:

1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says
www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE

Hi, Angela. It has taken me a couple of days to find the way to this challenge as the link isn' t working. I got you now. I have only a few more Christmas cards to address and then I can get back to fun watercolor challenges. I'll be back!

With all the commotion on the site on Wednesday and some other days this week.  I keep forgetting to post my WCW card for the Emboss resist.

Seeing as we just got about 4 inches of snow a few days ago, I made this snowflake card
