WCW027 12/02/2020 Watercolor Lantern
Hello all! Welcome to Watercolour Wednesday. I find it hard to believe that we are in December, except for the snow outside. We ended up with a fair bit and they say more is on the way. Before we start this week's challenge, I would like to commend all of you for the fantastic work that you are doing. We, your team, were having a chat and we are all very impressed. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to let us know. Today I have picked a Watercolour Lantern. It looks harder than it is. I do not draw, so I took a picture of his drawing that I could trace. It is on the dark side, but it gives you the basics if you would like to print it off to use. Have fun! You can find the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4i5X...=DrawwithShibaGalleryIf you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how: 1. Highlight the address for your card. (It sayswww. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)4. Click EDIT. Click COPY5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE

Well, Kia, you have stretched my abilities once again with this watercolor challenge. A bit of a struggle for me but a useable image in the end. Here's mine:

This looks like fun, since Thanksgiving I've been bogged down with Christmas and have not been able to do any water coloring.

Nice video...I went off on my own tangent, using a street lamp post piece of art from FineartAmerica for my inspiration:

Thank you for this challenge that was really a stretch for me. I've never sketched a thing in my life. Could not find a lantern image to use and watched YouTube to sketch my own. Swaying Lantern
