Search is on for VSBN Cruise June 2008 Hostesses (Ports of Call)
With the cruise dates set, we are looking for our Hostesses (Ports of Call) for this weekend full of fun!
We looked at the feedback for the last VSBN and will be adding some free time (scheduled break time) into your cruise and would also like to have a couple of �MINI� Challenges too! A mini challenge would be a challenge that can be completed in 1 hr. We are hoping to find some hostesses out there that can come up with a 1 hr mini challenge.
If you are available during any of these dates (June 21st, 28th, or 29th) AND you would like to be a hostess then send us your challenge ideas! Please, also indicate if you have any preference for which date you would be able to be hostess.
Your challenge ideas maybe but, not limited to:
~layout or sketch related
~technique based
~theme �Cruise� based
~Color based
~Supply related (embellishments etc)
Your responsibilities as our VSBN Cruise Hostess will be:
~To make a sample layout of your challenge (not needed until you are chosen to be hostess and the challenge is picked)
~Submit a �shopping� list for your challenge
~Write a short description of your challenge
~Keep in contact with Celtichck30 (Christy) and Kerry3k (Kerry)
~Be on-line during your 1hr or 2 hr challenge time period during VSBN to answer any questions that may come up.
~Help us to get the word out about June VSBN Cruise. We want to get people interested in and excited about VSBN!
To �apply� for hostess for June VSBN Cruise, please come up with at least 2 or more ideas for possible 1 hour (MINI) or 2 hour challenge. *Let us know if your challenge is a MINI or not. Remember to keep your challenge to your time�this is the hard part! We are looking for challenges that are related to the �CRUISE� theme. Any event on a cruise, anything related to a cruise (excursions, destinations, activities on-board, parties, buffets, etc�.). Basically, anything cruise or Love Boat related. Use your wonderfully creative minds and get those juices flowing!
Deadline to submit your ideas for challenges is in 2 wks- Date extended to Friday May 9th!
NO previous VSBN Hostess experience is needed. How else would you get this �experience� unless you try? So send along your creative ideas now to Celtichck30 (Christy) and Kerry3k (Kerry). You can email us at: [email protected] Please put VSBN hostess in subject line.

Just saw the call..going to put my thinking cap on and see what I can come up with. I have some rough ideas swirling, just need to fine turn. Not sure about the dates for me though, will need to take a closer look as DH will be gtting home around there
OK, I just sent off an email with 3 ideas. Don't know how good they are or if any have already been touched upon but I tried..hehehe

Keep the ideas coming in...they have all been great so far.
AND vastly different too.
It's amazing how many different aspects you can come up with for a cruise theme....
Also think love boat theme, anything to do with cruising, destinations, excursions, theme dinners/days, show nights, theme songs, etc.
I promise I'll be sending you one...just not ready yet! ;)
