Re: Advanced Degrees in Scrapbooking, Preserving Photos, Capturing Memories

We are pleased to announce the opportunity for all SCS Scrapbookers to earn an Advanced Degree in Scrapbooking this weekend at SCS University during our Fall Weekend VSBN.

Our extensive program will allow you to earn a Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate in The Art of Preserving Memories.

Classes will be Begin on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 7:00 PM EST with
SCS100 -- Introduction to Virtual Scrapbooking Weekend (3 Credits)

Saturday, November 9, 2013 Classes will be posted starting at 9:00 am EST, 1100 am EST, 1:00 pm EST, 3:00 pm EST, 5:00 pm EST, 7:00 pm EST and 9:00 pm EST.

The Senior Seminar (SCS499) will be posted on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 12 Noon.

All Students will have Two Weeks to Complete Class Assignments. Whether you need one or two classes to brush up your skills or finish an album or you're looking to complete your Degree with us by finishing the program we look forward to your visit to SCS University campus this weekend.

Pre-Registration for this weekend classes is encouraged but not mandatory. Should you have questions, please feel free to post your inquiry below.

Sounds like fun. It's a long weekend for my family, so my hubby might have other plans, but my plans include popping in the work on my degree!

Yeah! I'm already in my scraproom so I hope to at least pull what I need for the first challenge tonight...I'm an early bird so I doubt if I'll be up much longer after the challenge is posted ;-).

Thanks so much for the challenges. I'm out of town, working with some girlfriends scrapping, but no easy access to a camera (still figuring out my phone ). Anyhow, It is now Sunday, and I'm not seeing any challenges past 20th C. History. I'm not sure if its the connection here, or if something else is going on. Anyhow, we'll continue to work on what we can see, and hope that the rest of the challenges will appear!!

Geez...I totally missed this...even had it written in my datebook. I think it's because DGS had Friday off school and Saturday was busy with Cub Scouts then I felt like I had to go grocery shopping for once and then I started to bake and cook for this week. Oh well...it's good you are giving 2 weeks as I was planning on doing scrapping this weekend since the boys are on a scout outing all weekend!

I think Lela will need to respond to your question but the way I read each challenge is that if you choose to scrap the Master's option in each challenge, you would just link your layout in that challenge thread and all the Master ones need to be done by the date listed.

I was coming to ask this question.

I can rephrase it as...is there a thread that lists all the VSBN challenges in order of presentation?

It would be titled similar to

Scrapbooking Degree Program Challenges

and then have a cut & paste of each challenge, one per post.

I started with the Doctorate Degree...but ya know...I can get a lot of pages completed if I do Bachelor's, then Masters, and THEN Doctorate. :lol:

Have you looked at the I challenge? It is a combination of two or more. Can't wait to get to tat one, but feel I should do it last.

Yep...combo challenge!

and yeah...I'm doing it last.

I hope to get my layouts photographed & uploaded today. They are some doctorate level layouts.

I'm going to finish the one on my desk. Then go back & work on my Bachelor's. Be kind of fun to get them all done and we have a pretty good timeline.
