Great challenge Amanda! My poor head is about to explode with all these challenging challenges I'm done for the night - DH got home from his race early, he didn't finish So I need to go pay him some attention.

I want to remind everyone to be here at 11:00 am EST tomorrow morning

Okay, so I need to think of something I can do with sepia photos (may not be able to print these because my printer is out of three tone ink....) I also need to figure out what photos to do... I think a page about my grandma would be good, because she's vintage, too....

Default g'night all!

Whew! I have had my computer online off and on most of the day and I've been running back and forth to peek at the latest challenge posts. Had company, so I haven't gotten to do much of anything since the first one (which I enjoyed very much) but my brain is reeling...I love how just reading them even before an image is posted makes you start to think differently than you would if you were scrapping on your own.

I'm gonna have to dig deep in my stash (all the way down to old stickers, LOL) since I have only a few stamp sets and am still waiting on my SU demo kit (wahooooo! Can't wait!) I'm hoping to at least get to participate in a couple more, although I'll start out behind tomorrow because we won't get home from church/lunch til around 1:30.

Sweet dreams.

Okay back into the craft room. I have been out all day so just now reviewing all the challenges and cannot wait to dive in. Staying up all night...well I am behind anyways.

Question, if we get our layouts/pages done, do we have to upload them before 11pm est? Also, what about the no upload rule on Sunday's? Do we not upload for the challenges tomorrow, but instead wait until Monday morning? I am just not sure about what to do.

Also, since I messed up on the VSBNH, can I redo it, and submit it later (as long it takes less than 2 hours?). Sorry for all the questions, I am a newbie so please extend grace my way.

PS Is anyone else struggling with internet issues? None of my posts are loading and I had to reboot to get my photos uploaded.... Please forgive me now if I end up with double posts (or triple or quadruple or no posts all together)....

I am going to browse the gallery tonight and see if I can figure out how to do vintage!! Thanks for the challenge, girl!

This is a page for DS's album and I used SIX stamp sets!! I don't know how! Good night all - see you tomorrow~!

As long as you upload by Midnight EST you are good

And I think, I am not positive, but I think we have instant uploading for tomorrow as well, so I think you can upload tomorrow too.

And with the internet issues, yes, I had a very hard time getting online at all for the first 45 minutes of this challenge!

LOL! Ok good I tend to go overboard on my own scrapbooking so I wondered for a second here. I don't have enough time during these challenges to really get done all I would like so my challenge pages don't really show my scrapbooking style all that well.

this was a bugger for me--only one picture screamed old world theme, so I printed off a copy in sepia tones(best I could despite my disfunctional printer)--used some vintage backgrounds, and punched out way too many letters using a shadow alphabet. Aged the journaling by wadding up the paper and burning the edges over a candle flame. A little hardware and a bit of ribbon, and I am so happy with this page, I can hardly stand it. I think it is my favorite for the evening. Thanks for the inspiration.

I had a very hard time with this one as I've never done any kind of vintage stuff. Thanks for coming up with this challenge and making me do something different.

Default Sepia

I used Distress Ink -walnut -you can rub it over any photo to tone down the colors, and make them appear sepia. Susie

Sooo... Let's see:
- Sepia pictures - check!
- Browns and neutral (vanilla) - check!
- Vintage feel - does inking count?
- Embellishments - check!

Here's my challenge page:

Hi y'all!

I came home from church, threw some stuff in the bread maker to make focaccia sandwiches for dinner, then started madly scrappin'. Two loaves and another batch of dough later, I am wondering at this point if I'll ever catch up with all these challenges!

Here's my vintage layout. I am a little disappointed that the stamping and inking don't show up very well online...they're subtle enough IRL, so I'm not surprised.

So glad to do this layout. My mom sent me scans of these old pics this summer, and I probably would've taken forever to do something with them if it hadn't been for this challenge.

The Old House Place

Thanks for looking!

I was so happy to get my mom's pic done!! I don't know if I've used as many embellies as you want...but I just LOVE the way this turned out!! I don't do very many vintage style pages and this has pushed me to be a little more at ease with it!! THANKS for the great challenge!!

Ok, this is a bit different. It's incorporating a digital layout into a vintage-y feeling traditional scrapbook page. Kind of a challenge. I know I could have done something browner and more vintage with different photos, but I was glad to get this one done and I can now put it into my book!!

Default Old World Flyfishing

This oneís for old world France. A lot of brown, which is easy for me, I do a lot of camping and flyfishing pages. Putting one of my handmade fly (mataka) is a first for one of my scrapbook pages. The stamps were fishin and angler and were inked with close to cocoa. The wood is made with a sizzix die, even have eyelets on it.

I finally got a chance to link my pics of the layouts. Here's my submission for the challenge:
