When I am looking for some inspiration for my pages, I have found that older Magazine Ads can be so inspiring. From the colors, to the 'sketch' there is all kinds of ways that you can get your scrapping groove back by browsing older magazine ads. I just type in the era I want in google, hit the image button at the upper left and tada..major inspiration!

2. You have 2 hours to complete the challenge. Please be sure to write your description of how you interpreted his/her challenge in your Upload Description.
3. Please remember to put in the correct KEYWORD FEB11VSBNI when uploading your image; a wrong keyword means your submission may not be seen for consideration. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure you layout is seen by the host and all visitors.
I have added a few of my personal current favs but please feel free to find your own! I would like to see the ad and know how it inspired you

what a neat idea, this one will have to wait till I get the little one down for a nap or later in the week when I can really concentrate and look for some inspiration

I didn't spot Natalies sample page to attach it to the main post, but she'll be online shortly. The challenge is to find an ad and use that as your inspiration, either the color scheme or the sketch, anything goes!

Hello Ladies!!! I'm still preparing Superbowl food and need to clean up then shower...I'll be back for the 2 PM challenge. I'm not sure if our neighbors are coming over or not. If they don't then I'll be scrapping the rest of the day away! This is an interesting challenge and there are so many fun ads to use...can't wait to try it later!
Going cross country skiing with my kids and my DH. First time for DD (3 yr) but DS (8yr) went last weekend with DH. I'm sure I will be struggling more than the kids. Haven't cc skiied for about 35 years. Not sure when I will be back so I may have to try this one later. Have fun ladies!

Today is the tomorrow we worried about yesterday.
HI! Finally back from church and the grocery store. DH just left to go to work and then told me he's ordering Papa John's pizza for supper on his way home.
Designer Digitals Katie Pertiet does free weekly giveaways for the digi world and she often uses magazines and online ads for her inspiration pieces. This is a very groovy idea. I'll have to look through ones she's done recently and see what I can use. Kind of like killing 2 birds with one stone!
Home! Yay, made it before the snow started to fly...they sure are prepared though as I saw lots of salt trucks out and the signs were flashing Winter Weather Advisory!

I know what ad I want to use, I actually had it saved to CASE the card but maybe I can make it work for a page idea. Just gotta pick up a few things before my challenge starts and finish load of laundry, BRB ;-)

Here are some ad images. I just scrolled thru the list until I saw one I thought I could work with. If you don't see anything you like try changing the date in the search from 1970s to another decade.
