Every high school and college that play football has it - Homecoming - that one special game where the hype is 10 times the others. The community comes out in full force and former students and especially players come back to support their alma matter!
Homecoming isn't just the game it's the spirit week with crazy theme days, the parade, the pep rally, the bonfire, the homecoming court and the dance!
Tonight is both the school district I work for GO SAVAGES, and the high school I went to GO BLUE JAYS, homecoming.
We have had spirit week all week leading up to today. School let out early and everyone heads to main street for the parade!
It is some of my favorite memories from both high school and college - homecoming week!
SO for tonight's challenge we are bringing it HOME!
I want you to use the word HOME in your title!
Get creative! My sample is pretty straightforward HOME SWEET HOME but is twisty as it is talking about wanting to move.
Here are some ideas:
Home Sweet Home
Home is Where the Heart Is
Homecoming
Home Run
Sweet Home Alabama
Home of the ______________
Home on the Range
Homeward Bound
Here is my sample:
REMEMEBER TO UPLOAD USING CODE VSBNFNS05 by this coming Thursday!!!!
for Friday night & Homecoming! It's Homecoming here too! I only went to the first part of the game. Too crazy for me, I needed some motrin  Feeling better now and ready to scrap, LOL!

Hi Anavon! I have a question for the Queen of all Good Food Stuff....so today my DS Speech Teacher tells the kids about "Rock Candy". He gives them a "recipe".....I now have red "stuff" sitting on my stove with sticks stuck in it. JT tells me it will "crystalize" in a couple days??? Is all this true? LOL! I'm thinking something is missing....

LOL.....ummmmm.... depends on the recipe you used. There are a couple of different ones that I have used in my classes. So explain a little more and I can help you better.
Well the hot glue gun in a coteacher's room and I had a battle and the hot glue gun won. Took about an hour to freeze off the glue and another hour and half to get the throbbing to go away so didn't want to attempt scrappin with one hand lol now there's a challenge!!!

I found a few "home" type quotes that might inspire someone if you need some journalling ideas
The House That Love Built
No matter what, no matter where, it's always home when love is there
Home is the father's kingdom, the mother's world and the child's paradise
A man's home is his castle
Casa Sweet Casa (for our Spanish speaking friends)
There is nothing half as pleasant has coming home again.
I've been worried about ya! Haven't seen you all week? I hope you're feeling better??? ;)
oh I'm sorry for making you worry. I'm feeling a bit better, this cough just will not go away though.
I'm taking a class right now, so that is taking up most of my day and then I get home and make supper and then do laundry and then crash. I'm getting soft in my maternity leave
ya... if its the one Jodi is referring to... she is absolutely correct.. DON'T PLAY WITH IT!!!!
OOOOhhhhh....hmmm! I'm thinking that makes ALOT more sense to me. Right now it just looks like red-food colored water! GOOD to know we're not supposed to move it, we've already moved it around tonight 3-4 times, LOL!
I figured there was something we were missing....hahahahaha

how awesome you're taking a class! Trust me, I know how I feel on some nights when I get home from work and get everything "necessary" done and I don't have 4 small kiddo's....just 2 highschoolers!
Just glad to know you're (hopefully) feeling better and will be back soon
Don't forget we moved to Oct Scrap Goal thread....

It helps to be in a DRY area - as the water has to evaporate!

how much sugar did you use? If it is really runny, you might need more sugar.

Well.....that's part of the problem.....I'm sure you'll be able to appreciate this. When I got home tonight from work, DH & DS were in the kitchen trying to "clean up" from this latest idea for FUN!! LOL!! As you can imagine, I was left with finishing that up and trying to figure out what was in the pan and what to do with it....and where to place it so I could make dinner.
