I'm a little confused as to why there was no call for hostesses or any info about VSBN here...IN THE VSBN FORUM. I would have liked to have know ahead of time what the theme was, maybe submit an idea even. Will there even be a shopping list?
No idea what changed but I hope going forward things go back to how they used to be done...Just my 2 cents.

I totally agree with you Donna... I had a few ideas myself.
I thought that being the coordinator was for anyone who wanted to Volunteer (if I'm wrong, please correct me). When I didn't see any posts for challenge hostesses, I assumed no one offered to be VSBN Coordinator. I know we rely on Lela for a lot of the organization. When I didn't see posts, I was taking it upon myslef to organize times and a topic to put it together last minute; then I heard from Lela. I didn't want to interfere on something that may have been in the works. I'm sure Lela would appreciate your ideas, just PM her.
Maybe we can organize some Coordinator's for the next two VSBN's to avoid any confusion in the future. I see Donna and Diana had some ideas they wanted to share...maybe you can be the next coordinator's? I know I would enjoy doing it too :-)

I think Lela has this one under control now. I was thinking maybe we can set up coordinator's for the next one. I think they're every 3 months, so August and November. Just a thought...
well drat--I already have plans for this weekend, and I love vsbn! I didn't even know there was one coming up until just now. But I'll do some challenges late, better that than none!

well bummer. it looks like I will have to just be a cheerleader this time. Blood pressure is elevated so I have been told to take it easy.
Girl, that's the perfect oppotunity...get hubby to get your stuff and bring to your bed! Then you spend the weekend scrappin' in bed! He can take the couch ;-) I was bedridden six weeks to two weeks before due date with both pregnancies; they said what is to be, will be, the final two weeks. DD1 still ended up 2 weeks late but dd2 was 2 weeks early...go figure.
Poor Darcy, it wears thin after a bit. Good luck and take care! Rent lots of movies or read (if baby brain hasn't gotten you) ;-)

well dh cant bring me stuff since he is still recovering from his surgery he had on wednesday.
i am not totally bedridden but not supposed to do much of anything.:(
I hope it's still this weekend! My parents unexpectedly offered to take our 3 daughters to their mountain home for the weekend. It's our anniversary tomorrow AND the Pens are in the Stanley Cup finals, so I'm hanging out with DH then, but I can actually play tonight and Sunday! With 2 new Club Scrap kits, I'm excited to scrap!
Okay, I still haven't heard from Lela or anyone else about VSBN tonight and tomorrow. I had an outline of things to do when I didn't see anyone organizing it. I'm not sure of how VSBN is suppose to work or be organized from the SCS-side of things but I'm going to jump in and throw it together and hope you all want to play. If there is something else going on then I have no problem using my challenges for another event, just let me know. Can you tell I'm nervous and don't want to step on toes?!
My (back-up) plan...we meet in the VSBN forum at 4PM for Happy Hour! The Theme 101 Days of Summer. I see that SCS will be down for service at 11PM (I'm assuming EST) so the challenges today will be @ 4, 6, & 8 PM for those that want to post before 11 PM. The only issue I may have is not getting on-line due to daily thunderstorms, however, weather is suppose to stay good today (keep fingers cross).
I have a Girl Scout Meeting tomorrow morning so I won't be able to get on-line until noon. If someone else wants to help out and/or take over tomorrow morning, PM me. Otherwise, just meet back at the VSBN forum at noon.
I'll start a 'Happy Hour(s)' thread for stalking and chatting in a little bit...assuming I know what I'm doing ;-)

Yes there is a VSBN but I think it is more of a mini VSBN. It is being hosted by Mary Pat. The thread is 101 Days Of Summer. Hope to "see" everyone there. Challenges start at 4:00 est tonight.
