Okay Ladies,
Time for round 3 and our final challenge for tonight.
NSBD03: Scraplift a Layout from 1HapEMomE
This challenge is self-explanatory and one that I felt would be fairly easy yet still a great deal of fun. I came across this members gallery the other day and I fell in love with her work immediately. I don't know anything about her at all. I did attempt to send her a PM but haven't heard back from her. A lot of the ladies who stamp here still do not venture over to the scrap side even though they scrapbook so she may have taken me for a stalker.:confused:
Regardless, I think she has some real scrapping talent and I would like for you to scraplift one of her pages.

Wow, her work is amazing. Lots of distressing and sewing, both of which I do not know how to do. Guess I might have to learn this weekend.

Hi girls! I am so flattered that there is a challenge featuring my work! Wow! When I got the pm from Jennipher, I was so excited to say the least!
It is true, I distress and sew on most all my pages. I love adding texture and dimension by doing that. I use the Making Memories edger for my distressed edges and often add Chesnut Roan Chalk ink.
I currently design for Unity Stamp Co. so you will see MANY layouts (if not all lol) using Unity Stamps. I also design for Craft Warehouse and Triple the Sketch.
Oh, and Jennipher, I didn't think you were a stalker! LOL. Just took me a bit to respond... this week has been a crazy one for me and my family!
Girls, the projects you have made so far are gorgeous! I will leave comments a bit later when I have a little more time. Just wanted to say "hi" and THANK YOU!!! |

I'm not so sure I scraplifted; rather I was inspired by all the distressing! I never realized how much fun it was to tear AND wad up designer paper. Those two words in the same sentence...tearing & wadding up AND designer paper.
Here's my page...a trip down the memory lane for me as DS graduates from Middle School this month. I scrapped his Elementary School Graduation.

Here's my double layout for this challenge. Wow I love her gallery!!!! It was a bit tricky to pick one and then modify it for more pics and turn it into a double layout.....so I'd say this layout isn't truly lifted but definately inspired by this layout of 1HapEMomE.
