I've got my great grandmothers sewing machine and I'm dying to figure out how to work it so I can try sewing on my pages. I've been wanting to for months!

yuck! Sunday is the only day I swear off of housecleaning. Except maybe some laundry every now and then.

Do I need a special needle for paper? Will it mess up the machine if I want to try fabric later? Sorry for being so off topic!

No worries!
I just use a fine needle for paper! When I sew fabric I always do a test on a scrap piece of fabric first to make sure my needle is the right one and is not too dull - but since I hardly ever sew fabric anymore :rolleyes: I'm not really sure I can say if the needles are dulled by the paper or not.

haha thanks laurel - i SOOOOOO have pictures and an idea in mind for this already... good motivation to git'r done. hopefully i wont forget by the time i sit down to scrap!!

No Prob! We've all seemed to have "puter probs" this weekend!

Well if my pics ever finish printing I'll be off to try and get a page done before DD and DS wake up and DH and DFIL get done working on the car...that's a lot of ifs!!! lol
