AUGVSBNB {Board Books} Chipboard Challenge

Here is the chat thread for the Chipboard Challenge today - I'll be hanging out here for the next two hours. Ask any questions here OR chat about books (or food!) ;)

Board Books - At our house, we still have a lot of those little Board Books that are great for babies and toddlers. Some of my favorite kids books are in Board Book version, such as Jamberry, Dinosaur Roar and Just In Case You Ever Wonder.

My challenge is to use chipboard on your page. Embellish it with sparkles, cover it with paper, ink it up, tie things onto it...whatever you do, use lots of it!

I can�t wait to see the gorgeous pages from all you creative ladies! Remember you have 2 hours to complete the challenge...but you can start anytime, as long as you upload by Tues. 5:00 eastern time.

hehe - I had to look up the title of the other board book that my kids always want their dad to read. It has a long title! it was just in case you ever wonder - it's the 'kid board book' version (shorter!) of Max Lucado's book

Oh, I am excited about this challenge...I just got a bunch of new chipboard at the last stamp club!

Hmmmm . . . gonna have to see if I can find chipboard. I know i have something here somewhere.

Awesome challenge MAry. I cant' wait to play btu it'll have eto be later tongiht when the rugrats are in bed. Tanenr will be getting up any minute and then I need to gie them a little attention. Duncan was GREAT the last 2 hours so I could scrap... but he;s starting to get a little itchy.. kwim

Oh I know this one! My kids and DH just started talking to me and wanting some of this/that and the other at about 3 minutes after my challenge was posted! LOL

Oh crap, I know what pic I want to use but forgot I needed photo paper. Looks like once Tanner does wake up, we'll be making a trip to the store...

I"m almost out of chipboard, but hopefully I can find enough to do something with. It will have to be later though. I though I was going to get to scrap all day, but I have a VERY tired and whiny DD on my hands and I don't think she's going to let me do anything until she's down for the night! Hope to play sooN!

Well give your baby some lovin now and I know you'll have time to scrap later. You can always use 'other' chipboard, just always check it for acid free with a ph pen before you use it in your albums!

that IS a good plan! I love costco. But then I'd have to go farther in and get just a few pieces of produce and ......

Great challenge Mary--I LOVE using chipboard and seem to use it on almost every page! I just got some new stuff too!

Do we have instant uploads today? I got the first challenge done but don't want to upload it if we don't have instant.

one of them is! another one just finished HP 6 and wants the HP 7 now! And they ALL want to eat! The roast will not be done for another hour, I think! arggg

well there you go! AND you can work on the layout a little in the meantime!

send them here! the roast is done! I just have it on keep warm in the crockpot!

It doesn't sound like we got the Instant Uploads today. But you could try one of them and then we would know for sure!! heehee

I figured we didn't have instant because I uploaded my SBSC100 earlier today (I assumed we would have instant because of VSBN-I know I'm not supposed to upload on sundays!) and it's still pending. silly me.
