Face it, we all keep secrets. Some are serious, some are innocent (like I hide candy in the back of the fridge!). Sometimes we have a story we want to preserve on our layouts but we don�t want the whole world to read it, like reflecting on our own bad habits or a challenging time in our life. Sometimes journaling just interferes with our layout.
Hidden journaling is the perfect solution! Use a pull-out tab, flip-up photo, hinges, pocket, pouch, or a little envelope (or whatever else you can come up with) to hide your journaling and keep your secret! Here are some websites to get you started:
1. ALL VSBN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10:00 PM EST ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMEMBER 6TH.
2. You have 2 hours to complete the challenge (unless otherwise stated).
3. Please remember to put in the correct keyword, AUG09VSBNR , when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure you layout is seen.
Unexpectantly my aunt and uncle will be popping over soon....they've never been to our house....so I will need to do a "walk around"....what a horrible time for a visit....and it's over the dinner hour!!!! Now I gotta stretch my dinner for 4 more (my mom and dad will come over when they get here)......oh boy.
I better get working on it now.....

Glad nobody popped in on me! We're having lunchables and soup! I'm still working on the "Oh Baby" challenge but hope to get to this one sometime. I've never done a hidden journaling page. "Interesting, Very Interesting".

I would be a runnin' around like crazy if I found out we were having "unexpected" company. We don't really live by any family so we don't get dropped in on!

Sorry about that...dinner ran a little longer than expected, my Mom called me just before it. I miss my Mom! She doesn't live by me so some days when she calls we chat away about this, that and everything...sigh!
I am just finishing up the "My Town" challenge :mrgreen:

sometimes it just happens. My DH was of course rolling his eyes at me making "yakking" symbol w/ his hands...LOL! :rolleyes: Good Grief! After 22 years you would think he would just know it's what my Mom and I do!

Hey.... is anyone missing any of their pages that they have uploaded for this VSBN? One of mine is gone and it says that it has been removed and please contact them. It was not a title or name issue, because I always name mine with unique titles. I have contacted they and now I am just waiting...

publish...... nah......:rolleyes: It wasn't fancy enough for that. It was the one entitled "Remember When?" It had school pictures of me and my sibs. It was the one you, asked in your comments, how I got the journaling on the bottom, so I don't know what the issue is.
By the way my journaling was added digitally with "paint"....
i'm trying to think of a secret. hhhmmm. my life is so uncomlicated that secrets are too hard for me to have. oh i know...how much i spend on scrappin stuff!
This challenge is right up my alley. I love layers of things - like books you need to read to 'get it all'. I would love a house with secret passages and pictures you can hide behind and look through secretly! Thanks!
