APR07VSBNG Bubble Chat thread!
Here is where you can ask any questions!
I will do my bestest to answer!
Sorry that the post in the VSBN thread is all put together! I tried 3 different times to put the spaces in and it NEVER took it! grrr!
ANYWHO! I should be here (in and out the rest of the night basically!) REMEMBER!! there really is no sketch with this one!
Just do BUBBLES!!! Thanks gals!
this was a tough technique for me. will upload the page in a bit
OMG! Me too! This will probably not be something I try again, LOL! I tried all of the directions just to see if I could get one to work more than the other. Even had DH & DS helping. We actually should have taken picts. We had 3 bowls/trays, everyone blowing bubbles.... too funny. I spent so much time trying to make the paper that I had to slap the layout together.
I'm charging my camera battery so I can upload the pict of the layout.
This is the first scrap challenge I'm doing.... didn't know about VBSN until just now!
Bubbles were hard. I stupidly picked colors that were too light - seriously, Barely Banana doesn't show up at all in bubbles. We'll see how this turns out.... I have to watch my husband play in a community band concert, so I'm taking a break now....

no appologies necessary!!! I loooove trying new techniques, but some don't work well with craft inks and then of course there was the time issue. Am thinking I will try this again when I can play with it longer.
Are you kidding me? This was GREAT! I never would have even knew it existed. I don't get my DH & DS to help "scrapbook" often so for me it was fun. They got up this a.m both asking what I was going to try today!
I'm just "bubble challenged" hahahahaha! No apologies! Favorite Grandma's is GREAT! I'm trying to do all the challenges -- gets lots of pages done & maybe I'll WIN the book....that's what I'd really like
I'm painting chipboard for "H"! I've NEVER painted chipboard b4 but thanks to the "A" challenge to use paint, this is my 3rd layout this week with paint -- woohoo!
Whew, I'm back. It's a very good thing that I didn't finish my page before I left.... my husband reminded me as we were leaving that our scanner is only 8 1/2 x 12, so I can't show you a 12x12 page!
So, back to layout.... I only used an hour before I left, so I still have an hour to rework it, right?

take a picture!!! or if you can download ArcSoft Scan-n-Stitch Deluxe
That is what I use when I scan because you can do the 12x12!! you do 4 scans of the 12x12 and it stitches it together!
I made one! I made one! This was a little tricky, but I just kept adding more refills and my son had fun blowing bubbles for me. The first link is the full spread and the second link is a close up of the second page that has the bubbles used as spilt paint. Fun! Now off to bed!
