yeah, it does say you have 2 hrs. to complete the challenge, but then the schedule lists a new challenge every hour and a half, but then some are in 2 hour slots.....weird!

It's weird because my time slot was two hours until the next challenge started. But I had thought I read that they lasted 1 1/2 hours too!

Hello ladies. I helped coordinate and even I forgot it started at 8:30. Sorry I am late. I've been scrapping so I am losing track of all else. I think I need to help coordinate VSBN more often. Dh has been good about taking the kids out of my hair and sacrificing his computer. I actually get to scrap in peace!

fun challenge, wish I could play but we keep losing power, so frustrating, I should probably sign off and turn the computer off for real instead of the power doing it for me, but I have things I want to catch up on too while hubby is gone!!
ps. we gave our puppy a bath today too, she was so stinky
90lb 9 month old St. Bernard.
Unfortunately with the showers and humidity here she is still damp and still has the house smelling like wet dog, just not as bad as she was prior to the bath!!!

Both sample pages are fantastic and great job with the sketch. I need to think about pics for this one. First I think I should finish up the last couple that I have started. Despite dh taking the kids out, I have had interuptions including a visit from a friend I haven't seen in over a year. It was a great visit but any other weekend would have been perfect. Ooo, I am listening to 80's music and a cool song just came on. "Gone gone gone she's been gone so long!" I love the 80's.

thankfully she was really good about it, we did take her to petsmart, when they ran the $10 up to 6 months old thing, and we milked it for all we could, but since that ran out and she went up to $40 and new baby and all we just couldn't swing it, but we couldn't stand the smell in the house today so it was time!!!

Lela - I like the page border/embellishment idea, definitely might be more manageable, especially if there was a way to incorporate it into a later challenge ...

Cards (for me) are easier to embellish because of their size...layout can be sort of intimidating for me |

Me too!! And it is easier to find the right embellishment then the right picture!
Actually when I scrap I like to start with my picture! That is probably why I find it harder to use Scrapbook sketches and challenges! This has been a good exercise for me! __________________ Kelly Mahany |
