Welcome to our JUNE 2011 VSBN -- What's Cooking?! I have to share a secret with you that if this had anything to do with "real" cooking, I would sure not be one of the hosts...thank goodness it's SCRAPPIN'

I consider myself a true Crockpot Diva. If it can be dumped in and heated up throughout the day to be ready to eat between 5-6, we're probably good in my house. My family will suffer through it the first time, but will NOT heat it up a 2nd time and thus it creates the great "left over" issue. I admit, we're just not good with LEFTOVERS.

Unfortunately, it's the SAME with my scrappin' area. I'm good at getting the page put together, the pictures on but if I get interrupted, the page usually sits in a pile without a title and journaling for awhile. I just don't seem to go back to get it done. I also have "leftovers" for some pages where I'll find a sketch I want to do, lay it out with the pictures and then put it in a pile to finish later...which I also leave sitting...

Do YOU have "Scrappin' leftovers"? My challenge to you is get out a LEFTOVER Page and get it done! BONUS if you upload both the before and after pictures. For those of you that don't have those "LEFTOVER" pages my challenge to you is to go through your gallery or scrappin' stash, pick out some of those FAVORITE scraps of paper you've already used on one page and use up the rest for another page or 2. Digi-Scrappers...I KNOW you have goodies you've saved or downloaded that you haven't used in awhile, get those out and get these pages done.

When you go to a restaurant, you are usually asked if you would like to order an appetizer or if you have/attend a dinner party there are usually appetizers/hor d'oeurves available.

So, we have an APPETIZER/HOR 'DOEURVE for you to enjoy before the main VSBN event begins.

What a great appetizer! I have several pages I made at a class over 2 years ago that I have never added pics to or finished embellishing them. Guess I can go "dig" them out.....lol

Yeah, I LOVE appetizer's I'm doing some things with DD1 today but when we get home I'll be doing this challenge...I even know what I need to do!

I just got home and have a 'sweet desert'...my SU order was at the door...so desert & appetizers...my two favorite meals On top of that DH has a meeting so he won't be home for dinner and DD1 just had an ice cream so she'll eat light later...it's a scrappy evening for me

So, I saw this last evening, but hostessed my stamp club last night. This AM I finnished the page that goes with a page that I did in the mini. I had three pics and the same dp in a sleeve to do later to go with that page. So, I finnished it. Do I upload it now or wait until VSBN begins? Also, wher do I upload the before pic? Just in this thread?

OMG! I didn't even know VSBN was going on this weekend until this morning, BUT..... guess what I did last night?!

I pulled out the ol' wedding album that I am s-l-o-w-l-y but surely getting put together and I worked on a page that I had cut the pictures out and chosen the background for at last month's scrapbook get-together, but hadn't quite figured out my layout and committed to it yet!

Here is the 2-page spread FINALLY finished!
