020814 - 3pm EST - Candy Hearts Challenge #3 "#1 Fan" - VSBN14Feb03
Welcome to February and our Candy Hearts Kind of Love VSBN! If you don't have a box of Candy Hearts you may need one for inspiration, :D We would absolutely be Remiss if we didn't have an Olympic theme challenge during our Candy Hearts Challenge after all, sharing the LOVE for our Country and our great athletes is as Patriotic as sharing our Valentines Love with family and friends. For our Candy Hearts Challenge #03 we go to 2005 for our Candy Heart Inspiration . It was during that year that sports words were HOT... you saw Fit For Love , Dream Team, All Star, Be A Sport and my favorite #1 Fan. For this challenge, you have (2) two choices. It's time to get busy being Olympic Inspired and complete a page or pages which reflect team, teamwork, athletes, sports OR you can choose to use one of the Candy Heart Words and come up with an inspired page that's creative and unique without being about sports. After all, who better to be on the team than family. Since a Team is more than one, either choice for challenge requires more than one photo! To be considered for VSBN February Candy Heart Queen, you will need to complete your Expressions of love by Sunday, February 16, 2014 2. Please be sure to write your description of how you interpreted this challenge in your Upload Description. 3. Please remember to put in the correct KEYWORD VSBN14Feb03 when uploading your image; a wrong keyword means your submission may not be seen for consideration. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos. 4. While looking for photos, I found ones of DGS baseball games this past summer and was thinking I'll have to do something with them soon. This should fit the bill!

I had to finish dinner so I'm back to start putting my page together. I'm glad to see no one else is having trouble uploading pages so it must be on my side...not sure why...

I finally finished up the one from last night in between laundry and the dog :). It's amazing what all I forgot I had on my external hard drive. There was over 4,000 "files". Who knows how many individual elements total! Off to upload.

Lela, where are you getting all the 'stats' on the words used each year? pretty interesting.
Doing a great job wih the challenges! thanks for the inspiration! (I need to get better like some gals I know of watching the tv and scrapping, I'm too busy watching the early days of the Olympics, to actually scrap...but we'll see what happens over the next few days!) |

Hey, since this is my first challenge, I have a question. I posted my #1 Fan pages last evening. This morning I have an email from Splitcoast that they changed my category. First, why would they do that? My stuff is still showing on the link I put it on. It is still showing in my gallery. I can't seem to find any changes, so the email is confusing. Any ideas? Thanks from the new person.
