I was born and raised in southern California and spent a considerable amount of time on the beaches there. Lots of stories to tell, but I won't include them here. The soundtrack to my younger days included A LOT of Beach Boys songs. My surfer buddy Kent and I attended a Beach Boys concert around New Year's every year for several years running. When the Beach Boys did their "Endless Summer" tour with the band Chicago, my sister and I went to see them at Anaheim Stadium. It was a sunny, fun-filled day and exciting performance and all the rest - one of those events that you never forget. I included the Endless Summer album cover on a collage I did for a challenge some years ago (see thumbnail below).
My challenge to you is to make a card (or other project) inspired by one of the Beach Boys songs. If you are unfamiliar, here is a link to the Wikipedia page: Endless Summer (Beach Boys album)and to the entire album on YouTube: Beach Boys Endless Summer
1. ALL VSN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 11 pm ET July 6, 2020. 2. You have 1 hour to complete each challenge unless otherwise noted. (you do not have to count prep time.) 3. We have a special gallery for the Summer Playlist VSN: a) From the "Main Gallery" dropdown list on the first page of the uploader, choose Events and Special Collections. b) From the Sub-gallery dropdown list, choose Virtual Stamping and Scrapbooking Nights ~ it's the last in the list. c) From the new sub-gallery dropdown list choose Summer Playlist - it's usually the very top of the list. 4. Please remember to put in the correct keyword when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos. 5. Please do not combine VSN challenges...but you may combine any other challenges with a VSN challenge!
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure your creation is seen. THANKS SO MUCH FOR PLAYING ALONG!!!
This has to be the greatest challenge of the weekend! The Beach Boys define summer and music so I applaud your awesome challenge and will bbl with my card. Thank you for great summer inspiration as we so need it this year.
With surfing and waves all over the place in the Beach Boys repertoire, I went straight to the surfin' lingo - and found this fun quote by Crush the turtle in the movie Finding Nemo.

And the fun continues... The gallery for this challenge is wonderful, but it's making me homesick. That's okay - I'm still loving all of these beachy cards!
